8/23/2011: I'm still alive

Incase any of you have been wondering, yes I am infact still alive, despite my neglecting maintaining this website. I've just been absurdly busy and haven't quite have time for any "updates" per-say, although I did start a tumblr which is somewhat of a more personal blog of my daily life. I'll be integrating it into this website soon enough, along with removing the forums section (it's gotten flooded, and practically vacant). In other news I have a new project which I'll be revealing if and when I get the okay, stay tuned.

4/19/2011: Obake san Update!

Well its been 2 weeks and I had my project turn-in today in SGD. I got a lot accomplished within the time I was alloted and conversly I have a lot that was left unfinished. But I am satisfied with what I accomplished. So as promised I have uploaded Obake San for download to this site. You can find it in the games page. Hopefully soon I will find time to finish Obake san, but it is unlikely.

3/31/2011: New Game Project

This month I am tasked with designing and creating an entire game as per the SGD class mandate(Structure of Game Design). While normal students are using premade sounds and sprites for their project I decided to do everything from scratch. After a bit of planning and some concept art I decided exactly what I will be creating. *Drum roll* I present to you: "Obake san".

Obake san is a Sidescrolling platformer about a ghost from hell whom is tasked with capturing escaped demons. Do to time limitations I will be limiting the game to 4 enemy types and a max of 2 bosses. After this month is over I plan to expand it into a full length game. But seeing as how that will take a while I will upload the beta that I will submit for my SGD class onto this website as a free download. Stay tuned for future updates.

3/19/2011: We've got a bleeder

So I haven't posted in a while and I figured I'd bring whomever should read my blog up to speed. Yesterday I decided it has been a long time since I've spent a day just jamming out with friends. So seeing how I had prior arrangements with Tim to go grocery shopping, I figured we might as well jam. So the majority of my day was spent eating and recording a new song with Tim. Now I happen to be a pretty good cook and am always looking to make new creations. I also happen to be obsessed with bacon (I am but a man.), so after a bit of preparation I cooked the following. WARNING: the following dish contains is rated AWESOME.

...yes that is right I wrapped the steak in bacon, after marinading the steak for a hour or so in a special sauce consisting of lots of rum. Thusly I named said creation "Bacon wrapped rum steak" and it was delicious.

Moving on...so after recording the new song with Tim we both headed back to my apt for some fun. Will whom had texted us earlier was having a small party at our apt which consisted of the usual drinks & rockband combination. So as I walked into my apt I noticed that the dishes could use some cleaning. As I was washing the rim of a cheap glass cup with a sponge I broke the cup. As if breaking a cup wasn't sucky enough I also sliced open my hand in the process.

Though the cut isn't very deep it was bleeding profusely for quite a while. So it looks like my right hand will be out of commision for a while, looks like I won't be climbing or training for a bit.

2/7/2011: Late night Procrastination

It's becoming clearer to me everyday that I have a very bad procrastination problem. Oh sure I "could" do my work as soon as it is assigned, but I hardly see any fun in that. Granted I would definitely see more "snooze" time as a result of increasing my work ethic. However what remains of my rebel "hipster" soul would probably melt into brain mush making me into the average F.S.U. code monkey and that simply will not do *shakes head*.

So what might you ask do I spend most of my "free" time doing? well that my friends is very simple, I watch japanese commerials.

9/16/2010: Class = Blargh

So I've been generally losing my mind out of boredom in class. I severly underestimated the level of redundancy I would be facing in retaking PG3 again. I find myself staring at my screen with the majority of the entire months work done, wondering "...what now?". But such is the fate I was doomed to meet because I was a retard and failed PG3 the previous 2 times.
