Name: Daniel Kahn

Occupation: Student/Freelance
Info: Born in new jersey, I started to acquire an interest for all things computers in my early teen years, I then decided to become a Game Developer after having fiddled around with making some indie games of my own. With college in sight and a ap computer science class in my background I applied to full sail to start my career. Taking an interest in T.V. I started getting involved with my T.V. productions class that was offered at Old Bridge High School. After becoming more and more attracted by the nature of the work of T.V. productions, I became involved in the communications field for Old Bridge High School. Being part of the T.V. crew I taped many events and witnessed many board meetings and the issues regarding them. Alas such work mearly was a hobby thus I have no plans of majoring in communications, despite my skill and experience.
Mid-way through my senior year in high school I became involved in computer science competitions held at N.J.I.T. Though myself being an afficianato of coding and all things related, being strapped to a team not quite at my level our team did not win the competitions. As of current I have knowledge in the programming languages: html, dhtml, x,;,css, javascript, java, visual basic, C, C++, Pawn. I plan to pick up fairly soon Php, sql, Pearl, Python, and some other languages which no doubtably will be easy enough.
Never having quite enough money to continue in martial arts for extended periods of time nor take the belt tests, I remain a low belt, though I have knowledge and skill many times greater than my current status. I have practiced, and learned a little of alot of various styles including: Hwa rang do, Muay Thai, Muay Boran (Ancient Muay Thai), Ninjutsu, Jujutsu, Tae kwon do, Karate, Bokator, Krav Maga, Kung Fu, Drunken Fist, Dragon style Kung fu, Wing chun, Tai Chi, Wrestling, Boxing, Dim mak. Through Learning a little of each of these many different styles, I have acquired sufficient knowledge to protect myself and others to a degree. Although I hope to soon be able to continue my training, as self training can only go so far.
As a Bassist I have been mainly self taught, but I have recieved teaching from my instructor chris whom was taught by the bassist of black label society. Though it was a short time it was time well spent, I have been playing bass now for roughly 3 years or so. In order to recieve critism and hopefully improve even more I have created a youtube account http://www.youtube.com/SamuiHakai on which I post videos of my self playing the bass. My knowledge of techniques and skill have gotten me a few gigs before, and offers.
Most importantly Being a Christian in todays world has proven to be somewhat harsh at times, though I regret none of it, as through persecution the church is most active. In my pursuit to gain more knowledge about God, it becomes increasingly apparant that all the Bible says is true. Having many friends whom don't exactly share the same views as me, I remain patient and answer their questions to the best of my abillity, I wholeheartedly pursue God, and I thank him for every instance of my life.
